When the time comes...

This one line has been stopping me for so long from getting started on things I want to do.

Not to mention the amount of progress I could have had if I haven't told myself that I will do it when the time comes or this is not the right time.

So, today's post is all about how to decide whether it is the right time for you to start your creative journey.

I send out a weekly email sharing thoughts on creative habits and how we can have that creative balance restored in our daily life. If you are interested in such a topic - go ahead and subscribe by clicking on the below button for free.

No spam, you have my word.

So, to begin answering the question of whether it is the right time, I first want to acknowledge that people have different interests when it comes to creative pursuits.

You don't have to be a writer to understand that starting right now is the better option than procrastinating or prolonging to start.

What's that saying – There's no time like today.

Creative habits are coming back a huge way to help bring peace to our minds from the outside world and I am all here for it.

So, as a person of many interests, I can say that working on creative habits is actually better.

That brings me back to the answer – Why wouldn't you want to have a peaceful time doing your creative habits that you are leaving for the future time?

Now, one of the primary reasons I struggled in starting my creative habits early is finances. I was in no position to start a blog. So, what I did was I started in a free blog hosting space ad eventually made this website from where you are reading a primary one, once I was able to afford it.

So, if you are wondering if creative habits require finances – you are right but wrong as well. You don't need finances right away. You need to learn first so learn for free using the platforms freely available and then move to a platform or things that require some cash.

If you keep stopping yourself from pursuing your creative habits you might not even be able to remember again to make time when life happens. But, if you are thinking that life already happened, am I too late to start – No. It's never too late to do anything.

So, if you really want to be peaceful by pursuing a creative habit, start trying out things you like for 30 days - every day for 30 mins.

Nothing more, nothing less. 30 mins for 30 days.

After completing 30 days, if you feel like it's not helping you stay calm or come to a calmer state – try something else, because in a world where they are fighting for your attention - do something to be creative.

To conclude, if you keep waiting for the time to come or think to yourself - I'll do it when the time comes, you will keep on waiting.

That's it for today. I hope you have an amazing weekend. You'll see me again next week. Until then – wake up, drink coffee, and keep creating😉.
