No spam, you have my word.
The first thing to remember is that you are doing this creative journey for yourself. So, it shouldn't matter if you haven't given time for it because you had to prioritize an external situation.
Apart from that, I understand if you have been writing or painting, or practicing other creative habits consistently at the same time for a while, it gets hard for you to not think about it.
But, the priority must be on the situation that you are facing. That is important. Once you get time for yourself, then you can either relax or start creating (up to you).
I prioritize the order likewise
Family -> Work -> Personal health -> Creative Habits
This way the pressure of creating something every day and if by chance I miss a few weeks, it doesn't bother me as much.
To conclude, just relax if you miss out on certain days or if your consistency breaks. The important part to remember is creative habits are a journey. And as you might have probably heard somewhere in some form – Journey Before Destination
