Hey Friends —

It has been a while I know. Let me tell you what happened to me these past few months; and no nothing related to health issues or anything. It's just I have been busy with work and training that I couldn't focus on writing about things that caught my attention and many such things. So, let us get back to writing.

Have you ever wondered, what is the voice that keeps telling you if you ever got wings you would fly like an eagle over people who don't have wings and laugh and enjoy; or have you ever had a voice saying if only you have the ability to stop time and make all the wrongs, right.

well, you are not alone and it has a name..…

The word is called "JOUSKA" and it's meaning is

A hypothetical conversation that you compulsively play out in your head—a crisp analysis, a cathartic dialogue, a devastating comeback—which serves as a kind of psychological batting cage where you can connect more deeply with people than in the small ball of everyday life, which is a frustratingly cautious game of change-up pitches, sacrifice bunts, and intentional walks.

This feeling of Jouska happens all the time and people often get lost in it.

When asked about it they say, "I'm just thinking of something" or "I'm procrastinating" or make a joke about you and change the topic.

Jouska is not a word that means you have a condition because the first thing our mind does when it listens to something does put it on the negative side.

then when you hear about it, you make a decision. Well, what if, the part where you decide right or wrong for yourself is a Jouska.....

And this word fascinated me.....there are so many stories I had in my mind to write on this topic.

What can I say, I am a creative soul, I Jouska a lot

So, here are a few stories I have thought of when I found out about this word.

  1. The protagonist, sitting in a coffee shop deciding whether or not to ask a girl on a date.
  2. A relatively decent looking man, average life, normal job, good looks one day gets hit with a lot of charges when he gets sloshed at a party the other day. The consequences and talks he has with himself are unmatchable.
  3. The teenage student having talks or conversations with himself about the future and the past mistakes which he regrets.

You see Jouska is nothing but the thoughts we have in mind and it is not bad. It is just a word that gives some perception of that feeling.

These pretty words and some beautiful sounding words can sometimes be blocking our creativity, let's just be honest about our thoughts and if our thoughts convey our idea, that's enough.

For the longest time, I have been wanting to improve my writing, so that I can make a story flow, and the characters in the story mean and fit in the story. So now after constantly thinking will it work or not, I am not going to decide.

The whole narrative of the story is to convey our thoughts and to make a point. Hence, stop worrying about how will it convey and start conveying.

See you at the next one!
